EQUAL RIGHTS + JUSTICE

The Peter Tosh Foundation, in partnership with the Jah Workz and Jamaica Association of Massachusetts (JAMA) and Jah Workz, Inc, is raising cash donations to provide immediate hurricane relief across Jamaica.

Funds collected will go directly to trusted Jamaican organizations on the ground who are actively purchasing food, clean water, and essential supplies for families and elder care facilities affected by the storm.

At this time, we are prioritizing cash contributions to move resources quickly and support local suppliers.

We will share updates soon about how to contribute to care packages and additional recovery efforts as communication and transportation stabilize in impacted areas.

NIAMBE MCINTOSH
Chairperson of the Board

Over the last several years, Niambe McIntosh, the youngest child of the revolutionary musician and activist Peter Tosh, has stepped up to the mantle to carry on her father’s message and legacy.  A renaissance woman, she serves many roles, including the head of the Peter Tosh Estate and Brand; Managing Member of Tosh Holdings LLC; Board Chairperson for the Peter Tosh Foundation Ltd.; and President of PT Capital LLC.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, McIntosh has come to call both home.  She received a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and enjoyed a successful career in the field during her early 20’s, however her passion for working with kids of all ages led her to switch gears and become an educator. She spent nearly a decade working in the Boston Public School system teaching mathematics and special education to high school 9th-12th graders.
