AKAYDA MCINTOSH
Secretary of the Board

Akayda McIntosh is the oldest child of Peter Tosh’s eldest, Stephen McIntosh and is very proud to carry on the responsibility of her lineage. Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, the granddaughter of this reggae icon has been instrumental in keeping the legacy of her grandfather alive in music, business and philanthropy. Believing her grandfather is truly a prophet, Akayda is inspired by his music and his words. Peter Tosh played a major role in music and culture and he remains relevant and continues to impact society. As such, Akayda shares his belief in ‘equal rights and justice’ for all and is committed to share that with the world.

Akayda earned her Bachelors of Education from York University and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo, both in Canada. After completing her studies, she spent time travelling around Europe, teaching various studies. In 2013, she officially assumed integral roles in the operations of the Peter Tosh Estate. Currently she serves as the Executive Assistant for the Peter Tosh Estate and also serves as Secretary for both PT Capital, which manages Peter Tosh’s cannabis brand and the Peter Tosh Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the estate.

Akayda McIntosh works to expand the Peter Tosh brand to new audiences by travelling the world and sharing the vision and legacy of her grandfather. She aims to connect people, particularly children, of varied cultures and back-grounds to promote inclusion and diversity. In 2016, Akayda worked with her family and partners to open the official Peter Tosh Museum in New Kingston, Jamaica. It is Akayda’s mission to have The Peter Tosh Museum, the Tosh brand and her grandfather’s music serve as catalytic agents for disseminating Peter Tosh’s beliefs to the world.

Akayda’s love for fashion and media serve as the foundation and impetus for projects that she hopes to bring to light now and in the future. She is truly honored to not only carry the “Tosh” name, more so, she is honored to carry the legacy of her grandfather.

Native New Yorker, Brian Latture developed his business acumen while studying at St. John’s University, College of Business Administration, where he focused his studies in Finance. He began his prolific career in the entertainment industry in 1988. Over the last three decades, he’s worked with the industry’s best and brightest, including rapper LL Cool J, while at Rush Artist Management. Latture has also advised the largest collection of hip-hop talent known to date.

Latture formed MegaSource Entertainment Group and within three years of its inception, the company managed both rap industry titan LL Cool J, and highly acclaimed rap sensation NAS. During this time, MegaSource Entertainment Group consulted the careers of many well-known artists and production interests, including representation of Marley Marl.

By 2000, MegaSource Entertainment Group helped to enhance the music industry with crossbranding by merging hip-hop with corporate America. Latture also broke the mold by merging artist management and cross-branding since most of the company’s clients required both. An advisor to many artists and producers, Latture often headed negotiations for label and production situations, including Don King Productions.

In 2014, MegaSource Entertainment began representing the estate of the late reggae icon Peter Tosh – founding member of internationally-known reggae group The Wailers.

MegaSource Entertainment Group is an interconnected company made up of a diverse team of seasoned industry professionals, which comprise a vast entertainment network. The same entrepreneurial spirit that guides our clients and their development, is the same spirit used by our compatible team to deliver quality services. MegaSource Entertainment Group is dedicated to offering an exciting and inspiring approach that helps to develop continuous careers and long-lasting legacies.

Latture currently serves as a Board Member on both The Peter Tosh Foundation, and The Book Bank Foundation; with over a decade of dedicated service. With his experience, he sees the threads of opportunity that wind through these non-profits and other organizations, working to bring them together into a coherent whole; assisting the underprivileged and striving students alike. Respected as a credible voice in decision making, finding appropriate strategies and providing business and financial advice, Latture earns a seat at the table wherever he serves.

Glenn’s story begins in Brooklyn, New York. As a teen coming up in the late 1970s, Glenn earned his early music credit as a pioneer of Hip Hop culture. In his 20s, Glenn landed a corporate job which he juggled alongside music production because it afforded him the opportunity to execute some of his childhood goals by investing in a Queens Village recording studio.

Glenn’s roots in the music industry proved to be a pivotal stepping stone to his next career move. The Book Bank Foundation, which he founded in 1998, was Glenn’s way of giving back to the place where he started. He wanted to share the confidence and insight that reading gave him, with those who were enduring rough times and who had been displaced from their homes. To date, the BBF has served over 175,000 children nationwide and contributed over 520,000 hours of community service with tutoring, alternative education solutions and career development services to Atlanta Shelters, Shelter from the Streets and Hero Awards.

In 2003, Glenn began his sports management career. He joined forces with Alonzo Shavers in 2005 to create Infinite Sports Technology (IST). Their firm managed and advised over 50 professional athletes including Olympian Samyr Laine, football cornerback Asante Samuel, Don King and numerous others.

Over the years, he has continued to serve as a guest lecturer on the speaking circuit of such universities as Harvard, Princeton, Duke, North Carolina Central as well as social institutions, associations and non-profit organizations. In 2005, Harvard University endowed Glenn with the “Man of the Year” award. Glenn has accepted numerous “Leader” awards, but the most humbling was an honorary doctorate degree awarded by Nepal’s Kathmandu International University. Bishop Luke Vandari, Ph.D. said of Glenn as he presented the degree: “His compassionate heart is like that of Martin Luther King and Mother Teresa.” Glenn Toby continues his work as an author, philanthropist, lecturer and talent agent.

Toby joined the Peter Tosh Foundation since 2019. He brings decades of non-profit management and business experience to the Foundation. His years of service to communities around the globe lend themselves to the Foundation which strives for increased social impact in the United States and the world.
